CONCEPT
The concept of "Art-72Rooms" comes from the part of symbolics of old Shanghai: "Shikumen" & "72 tenants". By the spirit of inheritance and innovation, We will host Art-72rooms Fair in 2019.
Art-72rooms Fair is a friendly, highly participative art and design fair and invites independent artists throughout the world to submit their work. The Fair will provide artists professional environment to display and sell their art work.
PRESENTATION
Art Residencies is a one-year program based on Art-72rooms Fair.
We will invite the artist to resident for couple of weeks (depends on the projectd itself) artistic creation. During the period, artist will create, discuss and exchange with the theme of shanghai Shikumen alleyway culture.
The aim is to show the regional culture of Shanghai from different perspectives.
